Electronics are now so sophisticated that it is essential in my view that you buy from suppliers who not only know what they are doing but are experienced in fitting and maintaining them.
I have used a number of suppliers in the past but the one I keep returning to is Greenham Regis. They supplied all my ST60 instruments, auto pilot, Radar, Standard Horizon VHF radio and my Icom handheld radio. They fitted my radar in just over a day and did a very professional job.
For batteries I use Barden UK Limited at Segensworth East, Southampton. They are very knowledgeable on batteries and solar energy as well as most things electrical.
For power distribution I used a lot of equipment from ASAP Supplies.
